Pay It Forward Rules
1. Making Your Selection
Be Clear: The person offering the item must clearly state how they will select the recipient.
Final Decision: The giver's choice is final and must be publicly posted.
Keep Your Word: If you post that you are giving something away, follow through and complete the transaction.
2. Shipping & Special Packing (Expectations for Receivers)
Cover Postage: Unless the giver states otherwise in their post, the person claiming the item is expected to cover shipping costs.
Special Packing Costs: If an item requires unique or heavy-duty packing materials (such as fragile crating, specialized boxes, or extra bubble wrap), the receiver agrees to cover these supply costs in addition to postage, as coordinated with the giver.
Get Details First: Once chosen, contact the giver for the package dimensions, weight, and any material requirements, then provide a pre-paid shipping label/funds.
Tip: We recommend PirateShip.com as a simple, affordable option for US residents.
Giver's Choice: If you prefer to cover the shipping and packing supplies yourself as an extra act of kindness, please explicitly state that in your original post.
Be Nice!
